The first Dongducheon Christmas Tree Festival kicked off in 2013, and is held every winter in the whole region of Saengyeon-dong, Dongducheon-si. It is a symbolic winter festival that blends in the beautiful Christmas tree, with shopping that revitalizes the economy, various sorts of food, and beautiful cultural performance programs.
