Council member
The council member is elected by equal direct secret electing from inhabitants. Regular number is 7 and its term is 4 years.
Chairman/Vice chairman
Chairman and vice chairman are elected from members. Term is 2 years per each 1st and 2nd half. As center of council, the chairman represents council and directs council activities. The vice chairman substitutes chairman’s duty if necessary.
Committee
If necessary, it will be stand for special agenda. (Ex: the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts, the Special committee for Administrative Audit and Inspections, Emergency special committee for US army base gratuitous conveyance and supporting National supporting city)
Council office chief(5th grade, one official)
He/she direct office work and lead other workers.
Experts(5th grade: one, 6th grade: one)
Support committee’s operation and activities. Make review and deliberation report for item evaluation.
Council office
It takes full charge of council office works and handles works with chief as a center to support members’ activities.
